Charles has almost three decades of experience in the industry, starting at John Pye in 1996. He has provided valuation and sales advice on some of the UK’s most high-profile insolvencies, including Made.com and Phones4u. As a highly respected figure in the industry, Charles is known for his expertise in business asset valuation and disposal.

As joint head of the Business & Property department, Charles is responsible for managing nationwide case instructions for UK banks, finance companies, insolvency practitioners and government bodies. Charles is a Fellow of NAVA Propertymark (National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers) and a member of NAEA Propertymark, the UK’s leading membership body for property agents. He is also Director of the Turnaround Management Association UK (TMA).

Anna joined JPS in 2013 having previously spent 10 years in the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency sector dealing mainly with Liquidations and Administrations.

In 2017 Anna became a member of NAVA Propertymark (National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers), and progressed to Senior Valuer in 2018. She now heads up the Valuation Team at our Nottingham Head Office and provides valuation advice on plant & machinery, stock, vehicles and intellectual property, in addition to the marketing and sale of businesses, asset disposal & data risk management.

Chris joined John Pye in 2022 and is an elected member of the RICS and a registered valuer. Chris previously worked in several global surveying practices and has over 23 years’ experience and provides valuation advice on plant & machinery, stock, vehicles and intellectual property, in addition to the marketing and sale of businesses, asset disposal & data risk management.

Steve joined JPS as a trainee valuer in 2014 in the Business Assets department becoming an associate member of NAVA Propertymark (National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers) in 2019. In 2023 he became a member of NAVA Propertymark, providing valuation advise on a wide variety of chattel assets to include plant & machinery, stock and vehicles along with intellectual property and business for sale marketing.

Ben started at JPS as a Marketing Intern in 2015 whilst at University. Having completed his degree, he rejoined as a Marketing Executive in 2017. In 2018, Ben joined the Business Assets team as a junior valuer and became a member of NAVA in 2019. He now operates from the Birmingham site and provides valuation advice on a range of chattel assets including plant & machinery, stock, vehicles and intellectual property. In his spare time, he enjoys walking his two dogs Pip and Paddy and competing in CrossFit events.

Hannah joined JPS in 2018 in the Business Assets department after previously working in accountancy for 5 years.

In 2019 Hannah progressed to join the valuation team which provides valuation advice on plant & machinery, stock, vehicles and intellectual property and in 2022 she became a founding member of the East Midlands TMA (Turnaround Management Association) NextGen Committee.

In 2024, she successfully completed her NAVA Propertymark qualification.

Alex joined JPS in 2021 as a part of the customer service team, with prior experience in the biotechnology and telecommunications sectors as a salesperson. In 2022, he joined the Business Assets team as Administrator and progressed to Valuer.

As a Valuer within the Business Assets Department, Alex is responsible for most Insolvency Service Instructions. He provides valuation, disposal, and sales advice for assets ranging from vehicles, plant & machinery, IT, and intellectual property.
